The website is vital in the Council’s communication efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Calderdale and help encourage more activity in daily life. We all know that not being active enough is a silent killer and research shows that we really need to act fast. Not only does being active help us avoid illness but it helps our local NHS and economy.

A recent poll showed that 32% of residents in Calderdale are rarely active.
