Thanks to Harvey's

Our 60 days in the limelight that is Harvey's of Halifax's store and window drew to a close on 30th April 2011. This has been a great success in that Home-Start's profile has been raised to a new section of the Calderdale population and that we raised some much needed funds too. Harvey's had Home-Start collection boxes at every till point in the store and ran several events on the launch night that their customers paid for. Millie Bees of Halifax produced some scented soaps in store that were beautifully wrapped in paper that carried the Home-Start logo and information about out service and for every bar sole Home-Start will receive £1.
We also ran our own Grand Prize Draw throughout the 60 days and this was drawn on the final day. I total we raised £2179!!! Thank you to everyone who helped out with this period of sponsorship in any way. And an ENORMOUS thanks to Harvey's of Halifax - it truly was a privilege to work with such a well respected local company. Their support was amazing and will hopefully continue into the future.
